Our shade technicians will work with you to design and install a shade structure suited to your needs. The entire process from consultation right through to the installation and after sales service is closely monitored to ensure an end result you are 100% satisfied with. Read on to find out more about our installation process.
Because every location has different requirements, a shade technician will visit your site and discuss the options that are available. Here we can discuss sizes, shapes, colours, timeframes and budgets. A formal quote will be prepared, with drawings and samples (if required), and submitted for approval. Often Council permits are required if the shade structure or sail is over a certain size or height. If this is the case, we can arrange for the permit to be obtained from the appropriate Council for you. We can discuss this at the initial consultation.
During consultation is also a good time to discuss your requirements on timing; make sure you get your shade structure sorted in the winter months, so it can be installed before summer.
Along with the functional design, our technicians will ensure that every structure is perfectly tensioned and secured. It is important to note that all fittings we use are stainless steel, and the tensioning wires are either stainless steel (shade sails) or fully galvanised (shade structures) for continuous maintenance-free protection. The posts or framework structures are designed to be stable in high wind conditions, and are made from a high tensile steel tube that can be powder coated to suit your colour scheme.
When winter comes around you might like to have your shade sail taken down. Simply give us a call and we will arrange for someone to come out and do this for you, and then set a date to put it back up again before summer starts. We can also supply you with a shade sail bag to keep it clean and out of the way while it’s not being used.
